Kathu Biz was started in 2019 to market and promote small to medium enterprises in Kathu. KathuBiz is a wholly owned division of MarketBiz.

The company was formed to promote entrepreneurship in and around Kathu. It was felt that businesses in the town could become more visible. A platform was needed where local entrepreneurs could share their stories and inspire others who wish to get involved in business.

At Kathu Biz we work with entrepreneurs to build capacity through Enterprise Development by coaching and mentoring small businesses. We help companies to become more visible and showcase their brands and services so that they get more customers. Kathu is a small mining town in the Kalahari in Northern Cape. We have one of the largest iron ore mines in the whole world. We are always on the lookout for positive and inspiring stories about business in Kathu.
